Here are some answers to common questions we get asked by parents and students.
All lessons last 1 hour each.
Group tuition is £120.00 per child per calendar month for both Maths and English. It works out to be £15.00 per hour.
Any information gathered from the consultation and initial assessments will be passed onto the relevant tutor. However, all our teachers carry out teacher led assessments when a student joins. The teacher will assess strengths and weaknesses, and this will be used to plan tuition going forward.
All our tutors hold an enhanced Disclosure and barring service check (DBS) which is updated every year. Further to this we also comply with the Department for Education guidelines on safer recruitment. Therefore, all tutors go through numerous rigorous checks such as proof of identity, prohibition from teaching check, qualification check, reference checks and right to work in the UK.
Tutors are available for feedback at the request of parents/guardians. But all tutors’ complete reports which are handed out at the end of each month.
We believe in the traditional methods of teaching and are huge fans of pen, paper and whiteboard. Although using computers may work for other organisations, we operate our lessons on a strictly pen, paper and whiteboard method to reflect that of a school environment.
